
National Vocational Rehabilitation Technical Assistance Center (VRTAC)
The National Vocational Rehabilitation Technical Assistance Center (VRTAC) provides national training and technical assistance to State Vocational Rehabilitation agencies and their partners to strengthen program management, improve performance, and support better employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities.
Primary Goal
To provide effective, high-quality, and impactful training and technical assistance to State VR agencies and their partners. Our services will strengthen VR program management and performance and improve employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities.
Training and Technical Assistance Areas
We will provide universal, targeted, and intensive training and technical assistance to VR programs and their partners in these areas:
- Effective management and improved performance
- Transformative leadership
- Financial and resource management
- Implementation of pre-employment transition services
- Identification and adoption of effective employment practices and strategies
- Use of advanced technology, including artificial intelligence, to reduce administrative burden
