About Crystal:

Crystal is a Senior Technical Assistance (TA) and Research Analyst at the George Washington University (GW), Center for Rehabilitation Counseling Research and Education (CRCRE), providing training and technical assistance to State VR Agencies through the Vocational Rehabilitation Technical Assistance Center for Quality Management (VRTAC-QM), funded by the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA). She also works on a project funded by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) to more effectively measure and understand the VR program’s return on investment. Prior to joining GW, Crystal led the Quality Assurance Unit of the Arkansas Division of Services for the Blind, overseeing initiatives for training, data management and analysis, and program monitoring and review. However, Crystal has a very diverse professional background that also includes the fields of Adult Education and Organizational Effectiveness, Development and Training (Human Resources).

Crystal is currently completing her dissertation for a PhD in Psychology (Mental Health Policy and Practice). She is the recipient of two undergraduate degrees (Education and Journalism) and a Master of Science degree in Integrated Marketing Communications with an emphasis on Business Psychology.

Crystal is most passionate about understanding how ecological systems and psychosocial development are related to the overall human experience, especially in regards to social justice.
